Mere steps from No. Ten Manchester Street Hotel, is one of London's most unsurpassed displays of French 18th century decorative items and fine art - The Wallace Collection.

Like No. Ten Manchester Street Hotel, The Wallace Collections is housed in a historic London town house, with 25 galleries filled with over 5000 peices of art including paintings by Rembrandt, Titian and Velázquez.

The Wallace collection was established in 1897 from the private collection mainly created by Richard Seymour-Conway, who left it and the house to his illegitimate son Sir Richard Wallace. The museum opened to the public in 1900 in Hertford House, Manchester Square, and remains there to this day.

Admission to the Wallace Colleciton is free.
